Heatwave

Heatwave was a very interesting movie that portrayed the African American's lives living in the Los Angeles area in the year of 1964. Caucasians would judge the people by color rather than their character. Bob Richardson was a successful young man who studied journalism in his college class. He received a job in the LA Times newspaper, when other blacks were struggling to get a job. Bob used his observation and writing skills to print what was going on in the city of Watts. At first, he begins to write the truth that the white man wanted to hear. Towards the end of the movie, he realizes what he did was wrong and decided to write the real truth. His black brother and sisters all appreciated what he did and there was no longer any hatred toward him from his friends.
